Warranty & Returns Policy

At Leeds Home Furniture, we take pride in the quality of our products and strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Please read our warranty and returns policy carefully.


1. Warranty Coverage

  • All furniture products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery.

  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects and structural faults resulting from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and conditions.


2. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect, improper care, or incorrect cleaning methods.

  • Normal wear and tear resulting from regular use.

  • Damage caused by unauthorised repairs, modifications, or alterations.

  • Any product that has been altered from its original condition.

Beds

  • Beds must not be jumped on, stamped on, or subjected to excessive force without a mattress in place.

  • Harsh cleaning materials, chemicals, or abrasive products must not be used on fabrics.

  • Damage resulting from customer negligence is not covered.

Mattresses

  • Mattress concerns will be assessed through inspection.

  • If a genuine manufacturing defect is identified, a replacement may be provided.

  • Damage caused by spills, stains, misuse, or customer negligence is not covered.


3. Inspection & Reporting

  • Customers must inspect all furniture upon delivery.

  • Any defects or damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

  • Photographic evidence must be provided to assist with assessment.

Due to the bespoke nature of our furniture, refunds are not available for manufacturing defects. Approved claims will be resolved through repair or replacement where applicable.


4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring sufficient access and space for furniture delivery and installation.

  • Measuring doorways, hallways, staircases, and rooms before ordering.

  • Proper care, maintenance, and cleaning of furniture products.

Leeds Home Furniture cannot be held responsible if furniture cannot fit through access points or if property damage occurs due to restricted access.


5. Payment Policy

  • Full payment is required upon delivery.

  • Failure to make payment at the time of delivery may result in the furniture being returned.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • If part of an order is delayed, payment must still be made for all items delivered.


6. Product Images & Colour Variations

  • Product images are provided for illustration purposes only.

  • Slight variations in colour, texture, fabric appearance, or finish may occur due to photography, screen settings, lighting conditions, and manufacturing processes.

  • Returns or claims based solely on image comparisons will not be accepted.


7. Bespoke Furniture Policy

As many of our products are made to order:

  • We do not offer replacements for items selected incorrectly by the customer.

  • We do not offer replacements due to personal comfort preferences after delivery.

  • Refunds are not provided for bespoke furniture unless required by applicable consumer law.


8. Warranty Claims Process

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Contact our customer service team.

  2. Provide proof of purchase.

  3. Provide a detailed description of the issue.

  4. Submit photographs where requested.

Our team will review the claim and may request additional information or arrange an inspection.


9. Resolution Options

If a warranty claim is approved, Leeds Home Furniture may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defective item or component.

  • Replace the defective item or component.

Replacement products are subject to availability. Where an identical product is unavailable, a comparable alternative may be offered.


10. Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.


11. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products covered under this warranty.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products.


12. Changes to This Policy

Leeds Home Furniture reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time without prior notice.


Returns Policy

You may be entitled to request a return within 14 days of purchase, provided there is a valid reason and the return complies with applicable consumer protection regulations.
